Dr. Tahara Bate gives us a case where she discusses one of the biggest high-risk moments in emergency medicine, and that is the handover. It's about one in the morning, and you're 90 minutes-ish past the end of your shift. On it is an 85-year-old female who presented from home with general malaise and some GI symptoms. As per the resident, symptoms have been present around 24 to 36 hours.
