The web animations API is here for you without a library to do all sorts of things where you're essentially defining an animation. You can then run the methods on it to control it, whether that's play pause, finish, cancel or reverse. But again, many of these, like I said, frameworks have this covered, but this shows about the platform. So if you want to use platform tools, web animations API exists and is for the large part really nice - just a little bit more spiky than you might be used to.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk about the benefits of sticking to the web platform that is available to you through APIs you may not know about.
