The Evolution of Cooking
Cooking is a practice that's found all around the globe and across cultures. Every known society in the world uses heat in some way to transform food. But why? I mean you can eat a lot of what we consume today raw. Yet our species is the only one that cooks its food before eating. So why and when did we develop this strange talent? Well according to this man it began in our early ancestors way before we even became the species we are today. The cooking hypothesis is that humans started cooking about two million years ago.
