Bodan's Theory of Sovereignty

Bodan argues that the sovereign should allow freedom in private worship and avoid coercion. Bodan even wrote a work that dramatizes the possibility of unity across religious divides. For the first time, he defined citizenship in terms of being subject to a certain political authority.
