The Fed's Expectations for Rate Cuts
I don't think they can allow inflation to stabilize above 3% I think if it stabilizes a three and a quarter That's a problem for them. absent a recession that we're roughly in a world of three and a half percent Inflation right now. Financial conditions are still not particularly tight in some respects they've eased And so that and in fiscal policy by the way is is expansionary At the current moment and so at some point the Fed's going to need To come back to it much more likely to have to hike again Then that they can cut after tomorrow's meeting.
