I think what Raspai has attempted to is the spiritual side of this. The yearning for trans and desire for spiritual orders is not really part of their kind of cosmos. And because he's a good novelist, he's able to insert that into his work as well. He shows how people play that out in all their contradictions. That does seem to me a more realistic dystopia than just bottomless hedonism or naked power.
