The Picture Theory of Language

I'm trying to understand how logic, which is the structure of arguments essentially, relates to the world at all. And that presumably was what interested Wittgenstein. He wanted to know something about our relationship with reality. If you have sentences which work to describe reality correctly, Wittgenstein thought they were in some sense pictures of reality. But just as a picture of reality like a painting, it didn't be of an actual scene. It's of a possible scene.
