The Trade-Offs Between Structured Editing and Projectional Editing

In the editor, no matter how fancy we get with like structured editing and stuff like that, there's still at the end of the day, paste. You need to try and be as tolerant to that as you can and not have it blow up and give people a bad experience. There become certain operations that either get harder or else you need to reintroduce some concept of this is temporarily broken. And being able to parse code even if the user is in the middle of writing their function declaration. That's a useful editing workflow to support no matter what your editor is.
