The Flood and Genesis 19 and You Can't Just Read the Old Testament

If you want to learn to read the Old Testament well just read the New Testament authors closely they know their Bible so well. Peter and Jesus are putting these two events together because they recognize that Moses is doing it too. I'm arguing for authorial intent that Moses meant to communicate this exactly meant to parallel these things. It's as if the Lord saves Lot not because of Lot but because of Abraham is that what how we're supposed to understand that.
