Music Recommendation Algorithms
In the last 10 years, like recommendation algorithms have become massive and massively important. Music is backgrounded in a way that other things are not, right? So if you are like looking through your Facebook feed or watching TikTok or whatever, music is going to be usually in the background while you do something else. And this has really interesting consequences because a lot of mental health stuff around recommendation, music is escaping basically totally unscathed.
