We have an obligation to make sure that our unit and other units are identifying and referring and managing potential organ donors. There are donation doctors in this country, including in Alberta with a beautifully named and most appropriately named term for donation doctors. It's not just about donation, it's about specializing in end-of.-life care decisions so they are ethical, medically and legally grounded.
