Amazon Is Not Creating Innovation

Amazon, Walmart and Shopify are going into already corrupted political processes. They're taking taxpayer assets and converting it to their own balance sheet. There's no longer any constraints that politicians are willing to offer against this. For most people, they'd rather be a citizen of Google than of the United States because as far as they're concerned, Google or Facebook are much more responsive to them as a constituent.
