Is the European Energy Market in a Difficult Situation?
In california this year, there were big draughts, and so their hydro ouput was weigh down. A variability that you see with hydro when there's droughts applies. While i was in germany, for instance, coal was actually the number one source of generation on the grid,. Despite something like 500 billions sbent on wind and solar assets, they just were not performing. It was cloudy, and i had my electricity mapa going on my phone, an i flicked on the light switch, and it was a bit depressing.
