The Mysterious Carved Stone Balls
Carved stone balls are particularly associated with northern Scotland or northeast Scotland in the Neolithic. The vast majority of them have been found not in context, so they're a bit of a mystery. There's some exquisite examples, there's one from a place called Towie which has elaborate kind of spiral carvings on and very similar motifs to that which we find in the passage graveyard.
