Apple has added new ways of paring and getting set up. You can scan your homeket, paring cot, same as before. The wyfi on boarding process has seen wasn't happens in the background. It automaticly authenticates and adds vices to your network. But you also have other option for pairing. There's nfc now, so some devices, maybe nana leaf. Lutron is super able, super rock solid. So you do get that hub and that switch, i guarantee you won't have any issues. I wish they've a later question about garage door openerse we'll get back to them.
