The Importance of Experience in a Funeral
David's funeral was an ordeal from beginning to end and it was hideous. I think what I hadn't really understood was just how bananous you are as the morna at your beloved's funeral. Although I hope I wasn't unsympathetic to begin with, more experienced. Knowing those behind-the scenes moment that a morna would never know that had happened must give you a strange perspective on the day.
