The Russian military is trying to entrench and consolidate defensive line along the river stretching across the Donbass. The Ukrainian military strategy seems to be to disrupt Russian force reconstitution, not give them a break. I think you're going to see a lot more traditional fighting, probably raiding and special force operations.
