Is There a Difference Between Inflammation and Infection?
The gut is a series of tubes, just like the internet. Al Gore created the gut as well. The insular cortex receives signals from sensory neurons that line the gut and can essentially give us the sense of our internal organs. And I don't know how you can divorce that kind of sensory information that's internal, but it's sort of sensory information. Like we all know when we feel sick, right? How are you going to be able to divorce that from immune changes when they're both happening at the same time? That's maybe a question to have at the end.
