I don't need a sleek looking phone or a sleek looking laptop or a video game machine because I can put a screen anywhere. All the hardware and software that's running is in the cloud somewhere. It's not that I am in the matrix. But it's also like at many points, if not most of my day, there's elements of the world around me that isn't actually there,. but it's actually more or less indistinguishable from things that are.
