David Gergen: What does a president do with his time after leaving office? He was extraordinarily busy and one of the decisions he made, David, early on was not to establish a new nonprofit or any kind of foundation. President and Mrs. Bush had lost a three year old daughter to leukemia in the 1950s; they were active in cancer issues since then. They actually helped found a new group that initially was called the National Dialogue on Cancer.
