The Importance of Parental Rights in Education
Jack Schneider: What happens when you have parents and legislators being the people who directly impact what a kid can and can't learn in the classroom? He says kids need to be able to examine the world around them. And that includes the values, beliefs, assumptions of their families, he says. Schneider: It's really important to also talk about the rights that young people have because parents aren't the only people with rights here.
