The book is well footnoted, and it's got all kinds of stuff in there. He documents a couple cases of companies that have been fined by the SEC for greenwashing. Green smuggling occurs when non-ESG fund smuggles ESG policies into their investment practices. And he does talk a little bit about greenwashing, but greenwashing is fraudulent.
