Fungi Interacting With Animals
There's anecdotal evidence that the meat of a reindeer, if they consumed enough of this mushroom, would be psychodelic. Unfortunately, amphibians are really susceptible to fungle infections because they're cold blooded. The reason mammals developed to be warm blooded beings was to ward off these fungi. And then here's another fun fact of fungi interacting with animals. They literally, like, their spore has a tail, and they swim through the ocean an attack fish.
