The Future of Apps

The competition will still be between which app you want to choose to control. Samsung had its developer conference just a couple of days ago and announced that matter is going to be in all the things. What they did not talk about is any ability to allow matter to control smart things things that are connected to those hubs. And I think there's a way to straddle that as well as the power users that want to, you know, do all of the interop stuff. But for example, if you have a smart things plug or a smart things switch or a smartThings light bulb, those devices aren't necessarily going to show up on matter. At least they're not talking about it now
