Is Blessedness a Gift of the Gods?
Blessedness has this connotation of a sort of endorsement from on high, right? To be blessed. So how does that fit in? Yeah, now he does say, another argument he gives against you, which would count against using blessedness is happiness. Some people want to argue happiness is just a gift of the gods and it's just, you know, some people get better things than others. But if that's what you mean, then you have no reason for activity. And so like flourishing, he thinks that happiness is an activity.
