The History of the Hittites

The Hittites were a somewhat pioneering bunch with their mastery of ironworking, their ability to build chariots and their confidence. However entering the 16th century BCE we can recognise that changes were very much afoot. Not least of all those starting with a very bizarre and yet unexplained long-distance military journey right the way across the Near East.
