The Importance of Narratives in the Gothic Tradition

Frankenstein was one of the most significant and early experience i have of literally not being able to take myself out of the fictional world. The other narrative that had a very similar effect upon me as frankenstein and similarly fits in the gothic tradition was bram stoker's Dracula which begins innocuously enough chapter one jonathan harker's journal kept in shorthand. If anybody wants to tell a horror story i would i would implore  samuel richison’s chlaryssa at the moment.
