The Hallowed Position of Thomas Aquinas
I've read Aquinas. I studied him from the master's level on and read him. And it seems to me odd that there is a sort of slavish devotion to this particular medieval thinker. But his being recognized by the church in the way, as the field has, gives him this very hallowed position. Is there someone like that? Would you say in the evangelical world or history? Well, probably Augustine. More in the kind of Calvinist leaning community than others.
