How Do You Know if Your Ranking Has Changed for the First Time?

One of the sellers in this big group of sellers that that he was doing so that he would monitor listings I think for like six months. He would look at the price or how many or what was it you where they were ranking or something. Then before he even entered this competitive market he will look at the top 10 seller and then he'll give them bad reviews.
