How to Give a Grade a in a Maths Class

The chances are you will get three basic answers one is I've got work harder in some way or another that's a basic sort of phrase secondly I've either got to do some revision or got revised more or better something about my revision and the third one well I'm not going to be able to get any better because I can't. That's very interesting because there's a big chunk of kids who think that learning is sort of fixed somehow. If it just leads to those three answers it's not all that helpful so where do we actually want to get students to what kind of answers do you want to hear students give to the million pound question?
