The Power of Sine Waves

Sine waves can really do some strange psych acoustic things if you start tapping into those especially with sine waves because they have just the fundamental and no overtones or harmonics. Every room has a resonant frequency or more than one so I think it lends itself like you said to taking CD recordings away from dryness and entering into reverberant spaces but if done intentionally that could be pretty amazing.
