Can Someone Alive Haunt You?

A haunting usually involves, weirdly, the parts of the person we loved the most. So i guess not necessarily loved, as sometimes you can be haunted by the memory of some one who did you tremendous harm too. He can be everything from hearing their voices or even seeing them. I know, for instance, after my dad passed away, i used to always, always, and still do, sometimes, see him in strangers on the street. All it would take is some guy with a pot belly and a salt and pepper beard cut in a goatee, with a baseball cap, and i would immediately my brain would interpret it as him.
