The Importance of Conversion
Shame is an instrument that the Lord uses as part of this ongoing conversion, right? It draws us to the recognition of him, who is the giver of all spiritual beauty. So we can be repented of the spiritual ugliness like in which we have indulged. The Samaritan woman at the well and the gospel of John really highlights all of that. We're called to experience the same sort of conversion with grace but also mercy.
