The Impact of Anthropology on the Environment

I think that both Holly and White and Ian McArg were pretty foundational because remember I've been living in Costa Rica, I had been an archaeologist in El Salvador. And I think it's through the guidance of these mentors and others at the time, people like Bob Hannah or Lori Olan who is still designing began to realize that anthropologists could do something that designers couldn't do. The other thing I figured out fairly quickly was that one of the things I could offer was a way to understand these dynamics.
