LNG vs Liquid Hydrogen - What's the Difference?

Liquefaction of hydrogen currently consumes 30-40% of its energy content, versus no more than 10% for LNG. Liquefying hydrogen is a hugely energy-hungry process made complex by the quirks of hydrogen physics. You can't power an economy on imported liquid hydrogen. And that's not because of things that can be fixed, scale, technology, cost of capital and so on.
