"I was a about to die of an arexia. I had just, you know, committed till, ike kind of committing suicide in a really slow way that just took over my life," she says. "And so the first time i went on stage, i just made a decision: 'I got to figure out this eating disorder' Over the course of 20 years it became more manageable and less noticeable." She has since found success as a stand-up comedian.
