The Big Crunch
One way to avoid boltsman brains is to envision that the universe comes to an end. A cs recovered one possibility, some detail, which the universe just nues to expand forever and as brinset ense fas a sea of radiation, essentially no structure left at all. One of the ones that was much more popular in the 19 sixties, and is very unlikely now, but we can't completely rule it out. The big crunchd scenario would bring all these distant galaxies rushing back toward us. If you reverse the expansion, that heats upand you get harder and harder radia on at higher densities.
