Is Hemodynamic Instability a Predictor of Needing a Binder?
Pelvic binder should be thought of as a treatment intervention, not a packaging device. These aren't benign things, we shouldn't just pop them on. It also alters our triage destination. We don't want to be over-triageing these patients and over-burdening major trauma centres with patients who haven't got pelvic fractures. But you talk about this pelvic binder light, there's just one of them out there. There's absolutely rocks of them, which one is any better than any other mate? I mean, what is it? There's a tire sheet round the waist and there's all of these commercially available ones. Almost a little bit like colours
