Zeus and the Titans

Zeus and Tefoyos locked into combat with one another, and once again the earth shook under the strife of divine combat. Zeus smashed the monster with his fire until he tore a hole through the earth and sent it down to Tartarus. From him came the wet storms, the heavy rains that blast along the tops of the oceans. The origins of dozens of more Greek gods are set out in the closing hundred lines of the Theogony.
