Venture Capital - What Is It All About?

Burl: Never planned to be a venture capitalist. Couldn't spell venture capital even though most of my friends were VCs. And he says tell you what, you give me 25 million bucks and I'll give you a window into that world. He converted that into 300 million dollars. Today we have a just short of a billion dollars in our venture capital business. We're doing significantly more work in the Middle East and other parts of the world. The value proposition is I've got some insight. Everybody wants to know what I think is going to happen next year because of what I know.
