The government workforce is no bigger than it was at the time of John F. Kennedy when we had little more than half the population in the country. People say, well, where's all this spending coming from? It goes to contractors and there's no cap on their salaries. So the outsourcing of government contracts is primarily how people get rich. But hey, they're living off the government every bit as much as a government worker and they're getting a lot richer.
