Snowboarding in the Rockies

I started snowboarding when I was in grade nine, so 14 or something had skied before. In high school, we would get these passes that would allow us to drive to Jasper and snowboard all day and then come home. So once or twice a year, we would do these bigger trips with friends and go to Silver Star and Big White. We moved here 10 years ago. And my kids were a lot younger. It's within like a 20 minute drive of 25 minutes from my house to the chairlift at Silver Star.
