The Pattern of the Lily Pads

There's a sign above the door that says, pad the uneventful. On either side of the door, there's a basket made of woven reeds that's filled with fish. Bart swims to look at the scroll and tries to understand it but can't understand it half-way through. What languages do you read? I speak Elvish and common goblin. Do you have no idea what Gum gum looks like? You rub your butt on the scroll! It doesn't look familiar. Unless it's orc, I don't think it's going to help me find my way home.
