In 2000 there were so many great value names anything that was old old economy bricks and mortar you could have bought in early 2000 and made a ton of money by the end of the year. In March people started buying these value stocks again. Even though value has sort of underperformed the dispersion between the very most expensive and the cheapest stocks is very narrow.
