How I Decided It Was Time to Retire Early

I always knew I wanted to retire early, but I didn't focus on it. And probably in my late 40s, early 50s, I started getting a little more serious about it. Started looking at the retirement calculator, starting to think, you know, when could I do this? And I started to blog three years before I retired. So I was 52 at that point in time. It really follows my journey of determining when exactly we could retire and what I was thinking about beyond the financial side.
