"There's just so many negative consequences for women when we constantly berate them with this saying, you know, you're not good at money," she says. Women are twice as likely to associate negative emotions like discouragement and overwhelm with their finances compared to men. "I believe that this is a direct consequence of this outsized tendency we have to judge, blame, and shame women."
