Edward Sree: God wants to get really deep. He doesn't just want us to have to keep fighting against those emotions, those negative thoughts,. Those lustful thoughts, those prideful thoughts and those envious thoughts. We have to work really hard at the beginning stage of the spiritual life. But eventually that that Holy Spirit is going to start to seep into the depths of our soul and begin to heal those emotions from the very start.
