Why Is the Treasury Bond Market Getting Destroyed?
The value of a growth stock, why does it come down when yields rise? Well, when you're doing cach flow models, and you would have to account for rising costs of capital. And so that's this sell off in bond is really what's causing this pull back everywhere else. As as ields soar higher, people realize that e, you know, the net present value of their assets as as duration gets killed. When the long dated treasury is getting killed, it's going to be a tough environment for risk.
