The Think Aloud Method and Learner Experience Design

Think aloud involves sitting a person down, thinking aloud in a web context. The idea is that you're accessing the internal dialogue that you typically don't have access to. In terms of what we did, we set up a course area and we recruited actual students to come in to navigate that course area. We gave them a very specific task that were tied to the learning environment. And then using those bank allowed method kind of report on how they navigated through it.
