How Much Do We Need?

The low ebb of morbidity and mortality, death and disease for most people seems to be at about five grams of sodium intake per day. The larger you are, the more hot and humid it is. We recommend things like pickles and olives and sardines and salami and these higher salt foods that tend to have lots of potassium with them because we need significant amounts of both sodium and potassium.
